Deus problems...

Post by richierich »

Hi Guys

Hope some one can help, ordered my Deus 2weeks ago had a dodgy coil ;;z ,sent back the coil and control box got coil replaced by Regtons. I tested new coil on speaker with c box at home worked fine so headed out to my permission.

I get there switch c box on then headphones, nothing... :-L headphones start flashing dead coil battery, i think cant be I fully charged it last night... c box shows full coil battery and coil works on speaker? so basically i think i now have a pairing issue? maybe headphones (that didnt get sent back to Regtons) are looking for the old coil that's why its showing it dead? went through menu tried to work it out but no joy.. B| now back home and my mrs has 'tidied up' ang can t find the manual for the life of me so any help would be great!! thanks peeps ::g

Yes it sounds like you need to pair the coil to the backphones, there should be instructions on how to do this in the user manual :-/

Super forum support in action there ... well done. Its a great machine Rich and it gets better each time you get out with it, hope you have no more glitches. I am hopeless at sorting out anything technical and I have had no problems at all in two years. I think the machine can make you a lazy detectorist =)) as it is so simple to use and yet has a very high performance, Liam :;@

Sorry to bump in.. Congratulation on a great detector..
Just heard yesterday that some of those that sold out the DEUS to different detector, now want it back..
Anyway.. I use GMP 90 % of the time on fields.. Tracking, discrimination between 4 and 5.. Sens up to 94, 95.. should do the trick.. I love 4 tone, so always that.. Happy Hunting.

Best thing with the Deus is if you get an iffy signal you can flick through to a different program by just pressing +/-
suprising the different numbers that can come up ::g ::g ::g ::g
