Backphone help.

Got my Deus this morning but i can not get the head set to pick up the coil.The manual says it comes already configured but the is no sound from them,they they sound off when the + or- buttons are pressed so the speakers are in order and the remote is configured to the coil serial no. and i have turned them on before the remote which is then supposed to tune them to the coil if you know what i mean Hope you guys can help,i am off tomorrow and cant wait to get digging Chic.

Dont know.. I think i normally turn control unit on first, and then Headphone..

Turn on the remote wait 20 seconds then turn off the speaker option then turn on
the headphones.

I had a new Boxed V3 arrive yesterday and the controller was already matched fine.

Having said that I had to manually match my WS5 headset to the coil.

Its easy to do if you follow the Manual guide.

Make sure the volume isn't turned down to 0 on the headset I've done that a few times and thought it was broken

Sounds like you haven't switched to the volume mode, before pressing the up/down buttons.

Big thanks fellas,i went down the entering the coil number on the headset rout as explained in the manual .I am off down the farm now Chic.

Next step is to get used to the sounds, which I found a bit difficult with my ancient hearing but that was nearly 4 years ago. Jerry.
