info wanted on the euro/uk version garrett a t pro

Post by deanothehunter »

hi every 1, i am currently using the garrett ace 250 which has been a brilliant machine and has found all ages of goodies :) .
i hav recently been reading up on the new garrett a t pro uk version which i really like the look of, i think a bit pricey but then what new toy is,nt in these hard hit times? :-/
i have been thinking about upgrading to one around spring time 2011 but wanted to know if its a good choice, or should i steer clear anyone got 1 please give me your views on it or if you know someone with one any info much appreciated, the write ups all look good but then they want to sell thousands of units so they would all be good reviews would,nt they :)) ...........cheers Deano :)

I'm intrigued to know what the difference is between the 2 versions as well.
As far as i can tell its just the display and if it is i cant see why we have to pay a marked increase in the price compared to the US version.
Im itching to upgrade from my 250 to either a sov gt/xterra 705 or at pro but still waiting for a review on the at pro's depth capabilities, i know its the same coil as on the euro but at a higher frequency so is it going to be similar, worse or better?????
If anyone has one already puleeeease let us know what its like so i can keep/eliminate it from my choice list.
Trying to choose my upgrade is driving me bloody loopy.
