Camber sands at the weekend

Post by tener »

Thinking I might visit camber sands at the weekend, any idea of parking fees and the best place to park?

Been a long time since I detected Camber, but the parking is at a premium, and probably quite expensive (knowing my luck I wouldn't find enough to cover the fee) but I used to use the main car park on the sands, if its a nice weekend expect it to be packed. Think il stick to Margate... :D

very few and far between targets at camber maybe better in the winter after some of the sand has washed away, dry sand can produce some bits and pieces amongst tons of junk!!!

good luck x;

...so did you go ? if so.find much ?..I found (Margate Saturday morning) few coins,a junk ring,and a Sony Walkman MP3 thing, looks like a dongle, put it in the PC it fired up OK, and was full of Indian music, might have it playing next time we have a takeaway, create a bit of ambience.. ;)

This morning Joss Bay £1.10.... ;))
