The ring is real as far as i can tell, there is one identical on ebay for £195 and this one has all the same markings and engravings in the right places.

The lead ball is a little interesting. At first i thought it was a musket ball but im now thinking it could be some kind of weight although there is no sign of a hole or wire loop. Just seems a little big for a musket ball to me but as its the first ive ever found i hope im wrong.

Also wonder about the poker chip, is is a real casino chip or did it come from a poker set? its quite heavy.

Still, im loving my new hobby and cant wait for a bit of a blow to turn the beach over and uncover some more goodies.
