BAD DAY OUT THIS THURSDAY JUST GONE BUT TURNED OUT OK

Post by charwally06 »

Whent out to my local beach yesterday , well was going to Seaton but took the wrong turning and ended up at sidmouth , was doing good for the first hour or 2 but lots of folk on the beach due to the nice weather .I stopped for a drink and decided to try another part of the beach and to my horror I had lost my Garrett pointer , so I retraced my steps about 4 times,this is walking the full lengthen of one of the beaches,so after about 2hrs looking for it and an watching and asking folk if they have found it I decided to give up and get me a coffee and try to think what was going to say to the wife lol rl; .Anyway I got a drink of coffee and made my way to the seafront wall that is between the main road and beach I went to sit down and couldn't believe my eyes the pin pointer was sat on the wall,by 2 folks eating a ice cream ,they thought it was a bit of rubbish well I was so made up .now I have order one of them lanyards ,im not going though that experience again rl;

I bet just about everyone has 'misplaced' the Pro Pointer at one time or another. If you haven't done so already wrap some high visibility tape around it at both ends so you can spot it from afar.
