Cleethorpes

Post by rugerrog »

Had an hour and a half on Cleethorpes beach this afternoon, I only managed to get a sneaky one in as we were on a day out with a group of friends but it gave me an opportunity to give the CTX an outing in black sand and I was impressed with it I never had any spasmodic signals and found £1.20 in mixed coins including a decimal 1/2 pence at about 9 inchs and I only dug 1 ring pull which was nice :-)
I even had a chat with a fellow enthusiast as we were leaving.

Hi,
I went to the left of the pier as you look at it from land, about 800 yards from it. I do like beach work, the digging is easier :D

I'm going to be back on a medieval site tomorrow if the weather holds anyway ::g
