Fisher F4 on the beach with the 11" biaxial coil
have any of you used Fisher F4 on the beach with the 11" biaxial coil, if so are they any good and what settings have you used

I have used mine on dry sand it works ok with most settings but wet sand is a different matter it's a bit of trial and error, all metal mode with manual ground balance and lower sensitivity works but with some loss of depth ,I also use the pin point mode on wet sand and adjust with manual ground balance I have found modern coins in wet sand using both methods but you will have to dig all signals as no discrimination in these modes at least it's an easy dig in sand.If you havn't got an instruction manual you can view one on the Fisher site .

thanks for that craghopper, i'll give those settings a try. i've downloaded the manual from the fisher site so i'll have a good read of that
