Beach vs Land

Post by huckfin »

I went on my Land for a day just for a change, picture is on slideshow, you can tell which one is from the Land. The reason i dont do land much is because I work on the land i detect.
The rest is from the Beach over the last 2 weekends, totalling about 16 hours
Check out my new lucky charm!
There is 2 coins in there-one is either a forgery or a mis strike, the other is a george the 3rd penny with britannia on both sides of it

Terrific haul huckfin! (links working for me, XP IE8)

Charm would pre date WWII I would guess :D

If one side of the "double brittania" is indented it is known as a brockage. This is where one coin stuck to the die and then acted as a die itself, I've got one I bought for a few pence from a coin dealer many moons ago.

Will revisit your slideshow for inspiration, well done matey.
