Never Give Up Trying

Post by Boandtia »

Hi Folks,
Went to one of my local beaches this morning, cold and windy 5 c, ( yes we do get it here in Southern Spain, there was a frost last night lol). Anyway after an hour and a half of hunting what I thought would be all the good parts of the beach, I had amassed the grand sum of 10 Centimos. Feeling pretty cold and glum, I was on the point of packing in and going home, when the sun suddenly appeared making life seem better, so I carried on. Another hour and a half later I had found €7 . 60. I decided to call it a day when I realized I had overshot the entrance where I parked the car by some 100 metres, so turned round and on the way back found another €1 . 50 !!

Just goes to show you never know whats going to appear beneath your coil, and not to give up just because you did not find much to start with. This has happened to me a couple of times now, but persevering has always paid off.
