Couple of hours out this afternoon

Post by yellow »

Evening all... :D

Usual day off on a Wednesday,so after I went shopping with the mrs,I decided to hit the beach about 3pm.
As most people are aware the recent storms put loads of sand on north east beaches,so I didn't expect to find much.
Was rather pleased with finds, all modern but was nice to get a signal =)) had seven. 20p pieces all in around a 30t rectangle :-/ along with a quid piece,a five pence and a penny...also managed a little frog and a triangular piece that has edges rather like a pendant but with no loop?.

Only stayed till 5pm as the temperature dropped and battery on the explorer se pro didn't have long left.
It was nice as always to get out as I enjoy beach detecting as much as land, and seeing as I live 5 minutes from it,seems a shame not to use it.
We could do with a decent storm dare I say to shift what the last one brought, but until them I'll just keep plodding on.
