Two hours 1st jan 2014

Post by yellow »

Good morning everyone and happy new year again <:-P

Went out for a bit this morning around 8.45...met up with tomo and said our happy New Years had a little chat and he headed off to another stretch, seeing as he'd already been there for an hour or so and had found nothing but bullets and scrap.

First signal for me was an 1875 Viccy penny in nice condition, then I managed a 1873 worn Viccy penny,a modern 1p and an 1874 half penny.
I also found what I thought was a tat bracelet, but when I got it home and unravelled it I think it is a silver or silver plated necklace as there was definitely a smell from foil, although it hasn't cleaned up very well, yet.

Happy hunting this year everybody, all the best

Not a bad start for 2014, taking into account the awful weather in the north east.
Keep those good finds coming :)
