CS3mxi with 11x 8 DD Coil?

Post by deepdigdave »

I would be very interested to know if anyone has a CS3 mxi fitted with an 11x8 DD coil as fitted as standard on the CS4 and the CS6, if so does it add much weight compared with the polo coil?
I would really like to know what level of depth advantage it would give on say a Vic bronze penny, a pre 1920 shilling and a hammered penny, on a simple air test, we all know that its not very scientific but it does give some sort of comparison.
Is the CS3mxi available with this coil at the moment and what would the price be? any info gratefully received.

it adds about 200 grams of weight. if you contact crawfords they will be able to sort you out. you can buy one direct from us. give martin in customer service a call tomorrow.
