Another Fun Day At The Beach.

Post by Expat Aussie »

I`d just bought some new headphones after mine had died on me and was keen to try them out.Walked over to the far western end of the beach - I could see that the nothing much had moved though there was more shingle than sand.Didn`t look very promising, the first coin a badly corroded 2000 1p.Shortly after that I turned up an old 50p (half-crown size) so thought it might be worthwhile giving the area a more careful search.Glad I did as I finished up with 32 coins 8 of which were pre-decimals.Nothing very old - the oldest was a 1920 1d - but still an enjoyable session.A silver coin would have been great so perhaps next time......
