Thames eyes only finds.

Post by deano69 »

I was a bit bored today so I looked through my "Thames pot" and thought I'd post a couple of the more interesting bits. All found this year and eyes only around Blackfriars. I will split this over a couple of posts. Any comments/info would be most welcome.
The first is a Charlie Chaplin badge, 32mm long. I can't find anything similar on the www.
The second is a pewter hob nail boot, 20mm long. (Monopoly piece?)
The third is a broken pewter cavalry soldier. I find lots of pieces of this type but this is the most complete so far. I would love to know the age.
Thanks for looking
