Thames finds.

Post by deano69 »

Hello,
Found these couple of bits on Monday next to Blackfriars. The George III halfpenny is in good nick but stained with the Thames mud! I'm not sure about the next find though. Looks a bit like a Tudor rose to me with a bent pin. Any ideas?
Cheers, Dean.

Nice one, Dean, that's a beauty.

I found a George V silver sixpence there yesterday.

Here you go. Thought it was a 5p at first! Not too old but I was pleased with it.
