Maybe this lot ship to the UK, as long as it's in English, worth asking them perhaps as its roughly £400 when converted:

Try the MDF site sponsors too.

If you can get a price match from the Forum's sponsors you know you will get excellent back-up in the event of a fault developing.

Be careful if buying from outside the EU as it's almost certain you will be charged VAT @20% not only on the item but also the postage and there will be a handling fee from Royal Mail which I think I remember as £8.

On the website for this advertiser, it states that the item is 'a replacement' for the xp deus. Now as I'm a confirmed sceptic concerning the way some adverts are worded........... it doesn't say it's 'an original part' - replacement could mean it's sourced from that place in the far east!
OK, so I'm overly cautious you may say. There's some good advice looking through the posts especially unseen/unquoted extra costs in customs and postage etc. Good Luck anyway and as said give our site sponsors chance to quote, Chapmans are very good. Regards ::g

I'm not claiming it's a good company as I know nothing about them. Just that the price was miles cheaper, as is nearly always the case with other countries. As for tax and customs duties, if it's from anywhere in Europe you don't pay them, only from outside. Not really sure if that qualifies for Macedonia though, I think they're in Europe now just not the EU. As with anything foreign their English translations aren't usually brilliant. :D

Bought my Deus years ago from Finland a lot cheaper so I'm more in the 'shop abroad' camp I guess. =)) Would always prefer to buy over here in the UK but realistically the prices really are a lot more with our high tax, etc.

It's up to each individual to choose what they want. I'd want all price info possible to make my own mind up if it was me on the hunt for an expensive new machine. ::g

No criticism intended by me or I'm sure anyone else HiHoSilver and anyone who puts in effort as you have to help another member is always appreciated ::g

I think the link you posted is very useful and may bring in focus price structuring used by manufacturers in different parts of the world. This is true in many instances where manufacturers will charge what they can get away with in any given market. It also promotes healthy debate :))
