I didn't know such thing existed until I just looked it up ...
If you use the lite version I guess it gives you a display to look at but with the use of a wire and other headphones ? Seems a bit strange when one of the main selling points of the deus is it being wireless ...

yep why would you pay all that dosh and then throw away the wirless phones capability .has alaine lost the plot ? better to have a wrist band for the control box if anything.

The main advantage is that the Deus Lite user not only hears the tones, but can also
see the VDI numbers

Ive been looking and playing with my remote control tonight, and learning!,to my mind the R.C is the way to go
I think a lot depends on which detector your "brought up on" if your happy with the lite, then fine if your happy with the R.C then fine likewise, the "wristband seems a bit pointless, but who am i to judge??. Benny

you cant use the speaker as its in the remote control unless you have it in your pocket or on the stem .bizarre .

I use my armband when the other half is detecting with me. Not sure how the wristband might work though.
She uses the 9" coil with the wireless headphones (on GMP as she likes the tones on that and digs all good signals), and I use the 11" coil with the remote on my arm and wired backphones (cable running up my sleeve). Apart from the extra coil, all we needed to buy was the xp stem, armband and wired backphones (£184 at current Regton prices), to convert my full deus into 2 machines
When she isn't with me I use full wireless

Wristband + Headphone Adapter + Headphone Control + Wired Headphones aimed mainlytargets wrote:you cant use the speaker as its in the remote control unless you have it in your pocket or on the stem .bizarre .
for the Deus Lite user, not everyone can afford the Deus Full Setup, plus the control is
much easier to set up on the wrist rather than on the head, and the best thing about the
Wristband is that you can also see the VDI numbers on the Headphone Control.
i have a wristband for my ipod that i use and love it. keeps me from screen hunting more like tone hunting
