any tips on where to try on this beach please, will be there in October.

Hello k.
only detected the west shore (?), the other side of the Orme, think it's called the lido. Varying results, sometimes you find older Victorian, Georgian coins and lots of lead weights and modern stuff, other times not much! Depends how much sand is on I suppose. Not been on the main beach near the pier. Not much sand there to go at but there must be stuff to find given the amount of people using it both past and present.
