nearest beach to ilfracombe

hi guys
im off to ilfracombe on sat for a week,now i kow that the crown foreshore permit does not cover ilfracombe ,so wheres the nearest beach ,ive only ever done half an hour beach tecting before,
also il have to stick to the dry sand ,as my gmp will not cope very well in the wet stuff,

ive been down that way a few times but never took the detector with me,so im a little familiar with the area

You might fancy Woolacombe, as that is a nice sandy beach. As you know Ilfracombe is shale/pebble and sand and is not Crown Estate. Woolacombe is fine.

Slap on the factor 30!!
