Early Morning Beach Hunt and Meteor

Post by oliver »

Had a hunt early morning on my fav beach was a very clear starlit sky could see the Milkyway and millions of stars did see a bright meteor red in colour .Found 40 odd coins all from the wet sand and all deep finds no goodies.Used my Sov Gt set in Disc and run in auto most coins were two to three scoops down. You can'r beet being out on the beach in the dark seem to find more with no on lookers and being out under the clear skys magic.

Well done. That looks like a Thai coin at the front. It's the king wearing glasses. How many baht is it? Not worth much, though in British money terms. Interesting find.

There's also a Polish one ;)
Oldest coin I've found - L Julius Bursio's denarius, 85 BC. And I love it!
