Am down in Devon doing my annually greckall visit for ten days mint see some of you locals on the beaches down here had a good day on Paignton beach yesterday carn't put up pics yet till I sort this app out

It's only taken two trips to the beach got wet through to day but still smiling

Hi Huckfin, unfortunately i don't seem to be able to get your pictures up :(

You know the tea hut by the pier at Paignton, well when we were kids we used to get under there and collect money in the sand that had been dropped by the customers above.

I suppose my metal detecting is a natural progression from those days although 50 odd years later,
I'm still looking for coins in the sand but with a metal detector these days. ;p

Just managed to see your pictures via tapatalk/ iPhone. Looks a good haul. ::g

I've yet to find gold on the beaches around here, though I am getting closer, found a gold plated ring last week.

These big tides should be a big help to all of us cos that's were I got em at the low tide line

Gold ,Silver and a good few coins, looks like a normal day Kev ::g Just had a week on the beaches as the winter wheat is still not in ;;z [waiting to try my lucky grot].Loads of decimal and the odd vicky pistol ball etc, Had a mad hr on my beach with the grandson and turned out to be a 20p day[all in one little area] plus the compulsory dog tag

did you not get eny thing on the big low tides in the rocks mate or are you keeping it under ur hat :D it was mad down south back snaped still ;;z

Wish I had something under my hat ;;z Put the 8 x 6 on for the .4 on tues/wed but only a couple of old coins plus pistol ball etc the rest was all recent losses still shiny.Had a couple of vicky,s from what you left at the front of the scaffold.my two rings were junk.found a usb speaker in the shape of a pink whale which sums up the week :D
