Beach serching permit

Post by bigmac »

Hi Guy's. I was chatting to a mate of mine who has just come in to this great hobby of our's, and we were chatting about detecting on the beach and mentioned that you now need a permit to do this so. I looked on tinternet and found this web site...www.thecrownestate.co.uk and applied for a permit which was granted and sent to me by email instantly. Has anyone done this yet?

Cheers, Malc

Yes, many a hundred have. There is a link to The Crown Estate from the column to the left of this under 'main resources' 10 topics down 'beach - rivers - water'. The Crown Estate link is pinned there,
