Quick Hunt

Post by doubledig »

Hi all,

Just back from a very quick scout looking for new cuts along the beach. The weather was absolutely horrendous. Heavy rain & strong winds, along with some spectacular lightning strikes coming in off the sea - hence the short session.

Only managed to find one area on the wet sand that was freshly exposed by the recent winds. Still needs to blow a bit longer to strip the large quantities of sand off. But hey can't grumble it's a start! [emoji3]

Managed one ladies wishbone ring, think it's a junker? It does have some kind of marking but I am unable to read it. Could it be gold plate on possible silver?

Also the mid section of a small lead figure? £2.05 in spends, some bullets one of which is very small. And finally a lead button. I found one identical last year around the same area, and was told that it could possibly be a dress weight?

Roll on the winter storms! Cant wait to see what may turn up next [emoji2]

Well done, thanks for sharing. I'm going to brave the weather tomorrow for a beach hunt. ::g
