Some heavy gear - page 84 in The Deus Handbook af Andy Sabisch..
We are not allowed to dig under the "culture layer" deepth of the plow here, so this debate was running in DK. Going to be deep search..

Thanks for the photo, glad you posted it, as I don't have a copy of the handbook.
It really looks bulky, and what would an extra like that cost, when the normal coils are around £300
And I suppose this is just for hoard hunting.
Thanks Danzigman, you are as ever very resourceful.

I saw this in the book too, not sure at all that its the type of thing that would interest me, BUT some reworking of the TID and horseshoe along with a price reduction for the bigger coils would be nice!! having said that i would not part with my deus, (full version) i love it. Benny

I read (somewhere) the new hardware (high-freq coil etc) is scheduled for the 2nd quarter of next year. As the V4 S/W is tied in to that, I guess that will be a release date for the S/W.

My wife gave me a homemade voucher for the new pinpointer last Christmas, thankfully it does not have an expiry date.oldmasbroboy wrote:Still waiting...![]()

When will people realise that most "top end" machines are now limited by the laws of physics and electronics?
If you go out with "Any Top Machine" it has a maximum output limited by power & coil size.
It then has a maximum capacity to process the return information & convert it into something the user can understand and even that is limited to time & response so has to come up with a "best average" guess.
At most we will get tweaks & gimmicks to keep the money rolling in.
