Hello mate, I bought a pair of Goodyear 3mm neoprene lined Wellies at around the 50 pound mark. They have adjustable calves and are the warmest most comfortable Wellies I have owned. ::g :D

I bought REID neoprene ones from sports direct via fleabay and the soles came away from the boot on the third outing. Avoid.

After much experimentation I just use ordinary industrial Dunlops (the ones with strengthened arches) at about £10 a throw and a couple of pairs of thick socks. They only last for about three or four months of constant use but I found that the more expensive ones didn't last that much longer anyway. Whatever you end up with make sure that your spade also has a treading bar otherwise the top of the blade will cut through the sole fairly quickly.

Any really.

Fit is more important seems each brand is slightly different. I take a size 12. Some were too tight and others fell of my feet. In the end the sports direct dunlop ones were just right lasted a couple of years. Sole is staring to get cut up so will need replacing soon as they start to leek

depends on your feet and calfs as you want a tight fit and can walk far without slippage ,so far only the classic HUNTERs suit me as all else slips around too lose, i have tried others but not the right fit
they look very punished by now after 5 years hard use

Asda 8 quid set of wellies. Thermal liners if I need them. The boots have lasted 5 years. No holes, no cracks - all is well.

Have had pretty much the same experience as Fred myself and ended up just doing the same myself and using the same Dunlops £8 in my local shop. Only thing I add is a pair of insoles these boots are wide in the leg area, I dig a lot of holes at 2'-3' so I'm always wearing through quite a few pairs of boots and spades.

Try weaseys they are fur lined and the liners come out like socks for you to wash. Had mine for years £14 best buy ever.
