Deus antenna length

Hi guys

I'm just wondering whether anyone could tell me why there are two lengths of underwater antenna for the Deus please? Is it to do with sending one end to the box or the headphones? Never seen anyone using one but I want to do some searching in a stream and I wouldn't be any good at making one myself.

I made one up a few years ago before they were available from XP.

Just using co-ax cable.

It didn't take much searching of XP's website to turn up:
"3 kits are available to suit all needs:

* Kit A: cable 115cm (Remote control on the stem)
* Kit B: cable 250cm (Remote control on arm, on belt or inside diving suit)
* Kit C: cable 250cm + volume control + waterproof Armband incorporating waterproof earphones."
I hope that clears it up.

Thanks everyone. Jerry I did look at your posts with the set up you made, quite a long time ago, but I don't have time or even minimal expertise to do it myself :-) Ask me to amputate a cat's leg and I'm fine, but wire a plug?! Nope, sadly not.

Fusion, I wasn't being lazy I have been on XP's site tonight but I've had four hours' sleep and am possibly not finding it very easy to navigate so I asked on here.
