intermittent silence

Hi all,

On my last two trips out with my fully charged deus I have experienced the machine going silent through my back phones, stopped in my tracks and cannot work out if it's the coil, phones or control box after tapping each item I will get a loud cracking sound almost like a large iron spit/cracking signal and it's all working again.
Initially I thought it may be the connections on the back phones after removing and cleaning the two terminals and ensuring the contacts were good it is still happening? It's a bit concerning as I cant pinpoint the cause and this could be happening and I'm none the wiser thinking it's just a quite patch when I could be missing signals.
I'm not keen on the back phones, much prefer cupped phones so may upgrade regardless.
Anybody experienced anything like this?

Try selecting the speaker on the control box and see if it's coming through;may help pinpoint the fault to the headphones.

I get what your saying, process of elimination.
I'm going to try hard wired phones 1st as I hate using the speaker.
I'm off out shortly for hopefully a full day session and hope it turns out to be the back phones.

See my post on here mate, have you done a software update? That's what I was told to try first by Regtons. Then just use the back phones to rule out a problem with the remote. Mine still played up so its gone back to xp now. Cheers Ollie
