Deus Basic 2

Like many Deus users I often flick onto Basic 2 when getting a signal as it is a fairly good indicator if the target is iron. Why not just use Basic 2 all the time then? I am expecting any replies to this will be along the lines of reduced depth etc. We are bound to lose something, just not sure what.

I almost always goes i GMP. Sens 94, Disc 03 to 06.. GB in tracking or auto.. 4 Tone. I click back to B2 to check for iron targets... But feel B2 is not so sensitive to small items.. You know.. Belief can move mountains..
