Well done Le.Jag I don't find that many 18ct rings mostly 9ct I was lucky enough to find a nice 10g 22ct wed band few weeks back. Like those old lead based toy guns myself the space gun is my favourite one. ::g

Thanks,
in France the most part is 18k
the 9k I find are 90% of English origin s;..

by cons you definitely over 22k ring, very rare in France
I also saw some 24k but from abroad, for most Asia ..

I do not know if you have seen the discovery of a prospector in Japan last year, he found an incredible 24k signet than 75 gr

Tanks,
it is best to avoid the area between Ouistreham and Saint vaast la Hougue
landing beach, a normally prohibited detection
and has ouistreham / Calais there is plenty to do...

many beautiful beaches too low
of Mont St Michel to Cherbourg

Bretagne is not recommended, I pick up everything :D

22ct is a rare find for me as well 20 years of using PI machines and I think I have only found 5 or 6 marked 22ct rings and they have all dated before 1920 the recent one I found was hallmarked 1909.

Never heard about the monster from Japan 75g WOW would like to have felt the weight of that one in my hand, Who ever owned that one must have been swimming in circles ha ha.

here is a photo of the monster
the prospector's forum metaldetectingforum.com
nickname 18kRonin
he has done repeatedly platinum rings and 24k more than 30gr
probably yakuza rings lol

but there are always bigger, this is a Hindu ring 153 gr 14k this time
in France I know two huge discoveries on beach
an antique ring 82 gr 19k and a medieval ring with otomane gold coin of 76 grams 20/22k
roach hopes it remains found :)
