Extremely new to the deus so please be gentle!

Is the remote fully waterproof? No intention of submerging it but will be fine in a rain shower or drizzling day? If not is there a case that can still allow fixing to the stem?

I agree, but at the moment the deus way of thinking is new to me, tones and id's are very different.
