Its just over complicating things that Gold Field Programme, those xp celebrity folk are running out of ideas

Minelab Equinox !
Umm,
My thoughts to,,
I been messing around in my home made "test bed",,,,,
Seemed to spark off all the time,,, couldn't get my head into this at all,,,,
However,,,, several articles I've read, says that this is a incredible setting for depth, and iron recognition!
The main reason for the question was, this weekend I was fortunate to find a lovely debased gold quarter Stater,,, and today buried it in my test garden only 3" deep was an able to get a positive signal,,, my test bed is very full of iron!
However the Gold Field program was the only one to give a "diggable " signal,,, but there again ,, it seemed too give diggable singnals all over the test bed???
I've been using the Deus for almost 5 years,,, now feel I'm back where I started!! ? Very frustrating!

Did you see Gary's latest YouTube video on this subject?
" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I think the trick is to pump up the IAR to 5 to knock out iron and listen for the different tone on hot rocks. Ground balance is especially important as well - may try and persevere with this program but I do find it very confusing. Still, 15 - 30 mins giving it a go on a full day's detecting may slowly educate myself!
Ps. Goldfield part of video starts at 12.51 minutes into the video

Just watched the video,, very interesting!
I'm going to persevere with this setting & at the weekend,, I'll take this little coin and experiment in the field!! Trying various settings!
I think above all,,, it's frightening what you can easily miss as a good small target! In amongst iron!
Maybe because this coin (vale of Pewsey) ABC 2107..... is a slightly debased gold coin, is why it's so difficult to get a singnal on it, as opposed to a pure gold one?
I guess luck was indeed on my side when I found this,,,,,
Just scary to think how many I've walked over????
PS, can't wait for trying the new small elliptical coil, using the higher frequency!!
