I'm much too far away pal but there will surely be several positive responses from like-minded detectorists in the area - Good Luck ::g Regards ss47

Hi there. Where about in Pembs are you buddy ? Do your permissions allow you to bring others along. Some landowners can be funny when they see more than just you searching.. Sj

Hi Smelly jelly,my landowner is very good regarding the question you raised regarding others on his land.
as long as there is me and one other.
I've known him for quite a while and we have built up a very good relationship.
P.S.i live near Pembroke,West Wales.Thanks for your interest ::g

Always good to check with landowner before just turning up with a buddy. I always mention that it will be either only me or myself plus a buddy and that's always been ok. Pembroke a lovely part of wales :) some nice history there too. Are you a member of the Pembrokeshire prospectors ? Happy hunting :) Sj

Hi again S/jelly,thanks for your reply,
Well I did join the Pembrokeshire Prospectors about three years ago but unfortunately I found it was a fair old treck traveling from Pembroke,over the bridge to Haverford West..then them not finishing until sometimes half past ten,and it was getting later and later so I decided to give it a miss,shame really,but there you go,ive often wondered if anyone Pembroke side of the bridge was interested in setting up a small band of like minded detectorist's.
Are you a member?I've got a mate who does belong to Prospectors,i go detecting with him sometime's,but he lives in Neyland.
The detector I'm using is a MACRO RACER (red) and I use it with a MARS'TIGER' coil...seems to work very well,i even found some Roman coins this Summer..it's a great lightweight machine.
Well,thats about it for now,take care,....and good hunting.. ::g
