Nulling and going silent ?

How do i set my SE when one of the fields i detect is ither iron infested or minerlized all it does is null ans go silent even when i sweep slow set the sensitivity high or low as 10 in auto ? Im using a sef 15x12 and 10 6 6 program i dont want to loose goodies :-(

I have an Etrac so don't really know your machine. But it sounds like your pattern/settings aren't right. I run with no discrim at all.

You couldn't be using a worse coil!....15"x12" is far too big for an iron infested site! ;;z

I use 10 6 6 program,discrim nails only little bit blacked out top left corner ! Any recommendations on a small coil ? i have been looking at a 13 ultimate will that be better or shall i get a 8x6 sef ????

Turn the discrimination off and use the tones. Iron becomes the threshold and the non-ferrous just breaks through with a nice firm tone.

Why have a multi tone, multi frequency machine and turn bits of it off?
