Coil Flashing
Good evening
I have just taken delivery of the XP Deus and have charged all the items but have noticed that once the charging cables have been removed, the light on the coil continues to flash about every 4 seconds or so. Is this normal please
Thanking you in anticipation

Enjoy!! I've had mine a few weeks and love it. I've put the control box away and just detect by sound and love it. No staring at dials and numbers anymore and then not tempted to play with the programmes. After getting lots of great advice I've put it on GMP (programme 2) and left it in factory settings. My find rate has definitely improved and I've found some great things in areas I'd previously detected.

Please be aware that its sometimes possible that the coil/phones remain switched on after you have finished charging ... meaning that when you get into the field the charge can be showing low ..
The accepted way to switch off that works for me, is to switch off at the mains plug switch... and wait about 30 seconds before removing the cables and clip. To be extra sure that its all switched off... start the whole rig up, and then manually switch off the phones and box.

Thanks very much for the comments and advice. I have got the 28-RC-WS5 with the 11 inch coil and hopefully will be out with it tomorrow on Basic 1 and see how I can get on
