paranoia over.

Post by johntm »

after all the umming, and arring, about buying a nel,or sef coil i have decided to go for the minelab pro coil for my ex2,otherwise its going to end up costing me bundles of cash i dont realy want to spend,at least the reports about the pro coil are quite positive, and the swapout from the standard 10in coil to the procoil has got to be an improvement, your thoughts please peeps.
here i go again paranoia setting back in again.

I have had the explorer 2 and am currently running the se pro...and have for around five years.

I also bought the sef as it looked a good coil, and reports where good.
With the se pro, you already have the pro coil as opposed to the explorer 2 with its standard minelab issue.

I think any finding regarding both coils are very subjective..

If you walk over it, you should find it.
Does another coil go another inch deeper? Or are people justifying shelling out another £100 etc on the next best thing?

I think the only thing I can say is that I thought the sef was slightly better at pinpointing a target, but the same is for any detector...the more you use it the more you understand it..

Become one with your machine =)) =))
