XP Deus V4 Programs *Ultra Cold+*

Post by ju.mobile »

Hi,

Have been playing around with the V4 settings to try and define a program that suits my ears and gives a reasonable response. This is the first time that I've really played with negative discrim and came up with the following:

Edit of GMP Prog2.

Frequency. 12Khz
Sensitivity 90 or higher 9" Coil - 82 on 13" Coil)
Reactivity 2.5
Silencer -1
Iron Volume 3
Audio Response 4
Discrimination -3.1 (negative)
Tones 4 T1-202khz, T2-202khz(0-14), T3-603khz(15-59), T4-993khz(60-99)

Profile set to XY with x8 Zoom

GB used pumping and came in around 67.

Interestingly, placing a piece of iron on top and below my test coin (American 1/4 Dollar) the signal was still clear and crisp. This may not be as feisty as Hot but certainly impressed with the additional features.

Nice one XP, a thumbs up from me ::g

Kind Regards

Interesting! Thanks for the write up. I don't like hot very much, too noisy for me, although it is effective. Be interested to try this programme and see how it works.

Thanks for the info ::g

Hey OxGirl,

I had a run out with it last Sunday in sunny Besselsleigh. I find the negative discrimination really makes the iron buzz and there are less mixed signals in the case of the latter. Unfortunately got caught out by a low GB (identified by pumping) so was awfully chattery.

Found that by turning the GB up from 67 to 75 manually helped to stabilise the machine. All in all not a bad afternoon ::g

Kind Regards

Ju
