looking for a buddy

Hi All,

I am looking to buddy up with someone to go detecting, I live in Luton, male 30 years old, and love the outdoors. I am married and have 2 rottweilers (my 'kids') (for those with a good memory and a keen eye - I did have 3 Rotties, but recently lost one due to a spinal condition)

After driving for a whole day and visiting half a dozen farms, I got 2 "no's", 2 "join a club", 1 x details of a club given to me, and the rest I left my details with and not heard from them. So sadly I have no permissions but will keep knocking on farmers doors and asking.
I am in the process of joining a club.

I have just got the Garrett 400i and Garrett pp at. Great machines.

I don't mind travelling but closer the better.
