Small Foreign Coin for ID please

Post by Giz »

Not sure where to post, here or in finds ID.
No gold or silver this morning. Had to detect the top of the flood tide, so no wet sand detecting and hugged the cliff like a winger down the touchline. :D Up came this small thin foreign coin, probably made of base metal, looks to have a date of 1743/5. Unfortunatly the photos don't do the coin justice. Ta for looking. ::g

At the moment no, however if the wind moves around to the South to South//West or due West for a few days unfortunatly the sand will build up. ;;z
