Heading out Southend/Chalkwell beach tomorrow

Post by Mintyx2 »

Hi peeps.
I'm gonna be heading down on beach tomorrow morning Southend or Chalkwell (weather permitting) for couple of hours. Low tide I think is about 9am so I reckon I'll be starting about 6:15/6:30
Anyone fancy it ????

Love to but I'm not risking the weather or the holiday rush. Best of luck. :D

Hi
Was thinking about East beach but don't no if that might cause concern as that's right next to mod land . I'll have a chat with a mate of mine who works on coast guard there see if he knows any info. You've got all the coastline that runs round the old Shoebury garrison which has now been rebuilt for homes but I'm sure the beach area is still under mod.

Yes I was down by Risk in hotel stretch Nd just consentrated on the soft sand where I thought people were likely to sit and around and along the wall areas where people would sit or jump down on beach. I wouldnt mind trying to get out this weekend but might be late afternoon due to tide times etc.

Got out this morning only for an hour to try out Teknetics Omega. I went down on beach by Sea life centre and trying out machine as it's a tad different to my laser hawkeye but started to learn a bit on Teknetics. Only found 1/2 pence piece , £1 coin and a 20 pence piece and usuall ring pulls etc. But I think I'll get the hang of the Teknetics sooner or later. Gonna head up near casino area on beach early tomorrow morning and have another practice run for couple hours.

That's a good haul, I'm hoping to get down there tomorrow at first light for a wave about. Might see you about.
