I tried to Ayr beach yesterday. The beach is covered quite with sand. Even so, I managed to find many modern coins, two rings (not gold, not silver), a Russian coin rubrl, George V. florin and a lot of scrap.

Called in at Bridlington on the East coast yesterday but it was a waste of time, not changed from 2 weeks ago, still sanded in. In fact it looked even worse. Had a go anyway and got just 8 coins totalling 66p. It's a good job I was over visiting my Mum anyway so it was not totally a trip for nothing.
It's all the Headless Hunters fault !!
