You have bought a Safari? My God, what are you thinking of???
Only joking =)) =)) =)) =)) =)) =))
It is a top range machine I am sure and one that you will master, as High Tone says, it is very much down to the users ability to get the best from ANY machine. Liam B-)

Well done Beany on a well thought out and discussed desision to purchase a very capable machine. I particularly like the way you have weighed up your needs against your desires and come to the conclusion that should see your finds rate and enjoyment of the hobby increase in measurable amounts. I have wached, taken part and been well impressed at how this thread has proceded. Looking forward to all your finds and reports on your new machine.

Paul

Ps don't wait get in there and get it now (if you woried about a new model then get a good second hand machine to start with).

Good choice the safari is a top bit of kit and when me and my mate went out i got him to go over a few of my iron signals and on hes safari they wasnt all iron tones but good tones and when abit of soil was removed my ace then changed to good signals the same way iron can give a good tone that turns to iron that really got me thinking how often does it do this now i really dont trust my ace not saying its no good by a long shot but its got terrible discrim imo so its dig it all or at least check it all and that really slows you down the time has come for me to upgrade aswell good luck with your new tool you wont regret it mate

One more thing the saffari dont even think about beeping with coke and some of our feilds are unusable cos of it and thats with an f2 f5 and the ace so that alone makes it worth the money for me i hate coke i thought my mate was just saying it dont pick it up but must get the odd bit so i laid some traps for him lol and he just went straight over it not a beep in the end i got a belter of a tone right where hammys come in on the ace and it was a massive bit of coke so we waved it in front of the saffari and nothing again a great benifit to me dont know what your lands like but its a must have feature round here [:)
