Does anyone know if this is live or drill round?

I believe the deep grooves in the case indicate its a drill round. They are sometimes painted red I believe. Look at the percussion cap on the base too

You bloody jammy sod!!!! RAF bomber emergency escape axe !!!!!!! I am lost for further words......

Apart from about your 303 :) I am viewing it on my mobile so can't be sure but it looks inert/drill. As cheeseaddict says, check the blast cap on the base. If intact, it could be live as drill rounds never usually have a blast cap at all. Also, check the headstamp as this could tell you what type of cartridge it is.

EMERGENCY ESCAPE AXE!!!!! Git. :) :)
