nice kit but finds arent likely to be lying on the surface- over the years they get covered by silt and buried many feet deep in most cases

Looks like a fun bit of kit . But that's a terrible thing to do too a k98 bayounet (the knife it was lifting)

Looks to be a fun bit of kit but a bit pricey for me, sadly. Would like to see interchangeable fine jaws for retrieving small objects like coins and rings though.

Thanks guys for the comments ---- I just like the concept but also feel the price is a bit high.
I thought maybe lining it with wire mesh to recover and hold the smaller items.
On another thought I had ---- you know the trash picker things that are mounted on a pole and look like a wire ball on the end (spreads when pushed on litter and catches it), why not mount a camera to one of those and just walk the shallows and use it for viewing and retrieving? Alas, I am not a water hunter and the mind just wanders some time.
