Underwater claw/camera

Post by Al(GA) »

I ran across their ad and watched the video clip (click on clip to view it in action). Just thought it was COOL and some may have a use for it. http://www.aquavu.com/Products/AV-Claw/ ... w-Discover" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

nice kit but finds arent likely to be lying on the surface- over the years they get covered by silt and buried many feet deep in most cases

Thanks for posting, Al ::g Looks to be a fun bit of kit but a bit pricey for me, sadly. Would like to see interchangeable fine jaws for retrieving small objects like coins and rings though.

Thanks guys for the comments ---- I just like the concept but also feel the price is a bit high.
I thought maybe lining it with wire mesh to recover and hold the smaller items.
On another thought I had ---- you know the trash picker things that are mounted on a pole and look like a wire ball on the end (spreads when pushed on litter and catches it), why not mount a camera to one of those and just walk the shallows and use it for viewing and retrieving? Alas, I am not a water hunter and the mind just wanders some time. ;)
