How strange! You're Ollie C, I'm Ollie K. You've ordered a deus today, I've ordered a deus today. You live in Suffolk, I live on the Suffolk/Norfolk border. Are we twins, seperated at birth?!?! x; Ha ha, Don't suppose you went for the remote and ws4's? :-/

I've been using Garry's cold programme and it gives really solid 'dig me' signals in most grounds. Definitely a programme I rely on. I find the GMP really difficult to interpret, same with basic 1, as loads of signals come through and they all sound the same (to me). I've had the most success with the cold programme. However I'm still a learner myself even though I've been out with it several times a week for almost a year...

Good luck and happy hunting with your new piece of kit. Ploughed fields are the best locations in my opinion if you can get the permissions.
Hi Sam, Cheers for replying-What is Gary's cold programme? Cheers ::g

Highly recommended.

Cheers chap, I've heard that a lot of people go hell for leather when on fast. Quick question fella- how many tones are standard on the GNP or FAST factory setting mate?
P2 GMP has 3 tones, P3 Deus Fast is also 3 tones.
Thanks Nigel, I ordered my Deus from Regtons earlier!

Very weird isn't it, that's why I felt the need to comment :)) I live on the Suffolk/Cambridgeshire border. I ordered the 11" coil, remote and WS5's, also from Regton's ::g

Hi sorry for the late reply. Here's the link to Garry's Cold Program. It's basically a custom program he's come up with and I've found it very useful. http://www.garysdetecting.co.uk/xp_deus_3.2.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I have the full version XP Deus with ws5 earphones, the ones that sit on top of your head. I hope you get on well with your new detector ::g

Finds of note in 2022 - You know that thing you do when you pull your pockets out to show there's nothing in there? You get the idea.

Cheers samuraitrev. Funnily enough that's the program I've just started using and I'm impressed with it so far. Popped my hammered cherry with it on my deus, which made me happy! :D
