Will update tomorrow ..I only have a few hours .. so im gonna do some wandering before I start detecting .. the field has been used in the past as a makeshift car park for events so I'm expecting modern change to turn up also

I have just been granted permission to detect on the local gun placement .. ..wonder if I can come up with a shell for one of these bad boys ..
Whats the chances of finding a 3.7 shell ..would have they been re.packed and re.used ..well here's hoping .. will be going out in the morning
Regards
Jeff
Hi Jeff, Kent is probably the best place for shell fragments "all Hallows" is good for .5 shell casings along the beach and in the fields you will get more fuses, they can actually turn up anywhere really good luck and keep posting....HH....Johnnn

If you go onto "Google earth" and turn back in time with the clock icon to the 1940s you can actually see some of the bomb craters from the German attacks during that time ...HH....Johnnn
