Hi
I am a bit of a novice and am looking for identification on these bullets.
I believe the 2 larger ones are .50 cal M1 and M2’s. I have found more than 100 of these on public land close to an old WW2 American firing range. I don’t own a metal detector, all of these were found lying on the ground.
The rest, which I have found far less of, I am struggling to identify.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. All in the photo appear to have been fired and found down range.
Many thanks,
Ryan

far right looks like a fairly modern full metal jacket looks about 9mm
next to it is a 303 with a rounded tip. I believe the army moved to pointed 303s around 1910 ?

far left with two rings is probably illegal to own
I wait for the military experts to chime in. But any .50 cal I find with two rings I throw back

The one on the far left looks like a .50 BMG Incendiary - very nasty (And illegal to own), needs to be rid of. The other .50 only has one cannelure (ring) so what we can see from just this pic, it could be a 'ball' (A standard, safe and legal round).
From left to right - The three next to the .50's are .303 Mk7, the two look either .303 Mk8 or an American M1 ball .30-06, but need a good measurement of those to be sure. Another .303, a pre-1910 round nose variety, and a 9mm.
Regards,
Simon

Many thanks for your replies on this. I think I'll return the incendiary one from where I found them. It might explain why I also found fragmented ones close by which appeared to have been on fire/very hot.
I am intrigued by the rounded pre 1910 .303.
Thank you for clearing up which ones I can keep hold of and which are best to be left alone. The area in which these were found are littered in them so at least I know which ones are safe to pick up.
Kind regards,
Ryan

The one 4th from the left looks like it is an AP American 30 calibre, might have traces of the black painted nose.
If you are able to locate the firing position then there ought to be hundreds of cartridges left to unearth. Assuming you are able to get permission to search for them.
