Inside a lump of crud - Any ideas?

Post by 3pinplug »

Hi all,
Just broken all the black encrusted crud off a rock that was giving a good signal and found the following inside!
Beingthat it references both "42" and "43" on it I was wondering if this is WWII related hence the post in this section. All the pieces shown on the white kitched roll were stacked one on top / insiode with the small pin protruding up the middle. Initial search of 43 S MKI etc has drawn a blank, hope someone knows what this is as was a nice surprise!
