First finds from first permission for id please

First finds from first permission for id please

Hi all, first post for me. I found these on my first permission which is a pasture field very close to a scheduled saxon monument and there have been quite a few roman finds in the area aswell.

Im hoping the 2 brooches are roman.
Ive got no idea at all what the hourglass shaped lead item is. Does anyone have any ideas?

Nice finds! The lead item might be a dumbbell musket ball....Others will no doubt identify the brooches.

Thanks guys, Id never heard of dumbell musket balls if thats what it is. Fingers crossed someone tells me the brooches are roman.

Wow, thanks allectus. I never thought i would actually find anything roman. Can't wait to get back out there now.
